National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main). JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to B.E/B.Tech. at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

Age - For appearing in the JEE (Main) 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) - 2023 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.
Qualification -
Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2023.
Course - Required Criteria based on Class 12/ Equivalent qualifying Examination
B.E/B.Tech - Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
B.Arch - Passed qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
B.Planning - Passed qualifying examination with Mathematics.

Getting admission in NITs and IIT's in India is still a dream for many students. But, securing admission to one of these is not as easy as said. JEE MAIN 2023 is termed as the second toughest entrance exam in India. JEE Main preparation requires loads of hardwork and dedication.
But, it is essential to focus hard work in the relevant direction. Stick to basic law of physics. Concentrate on each topic. Revise as much as you can. Go with only approved study materials, as such, prefer only NCERT textbooks. Practice plenty of sums in order to solve problems faster.
